Consignment Policies

If you’d like to consign you can either mail items to our new location or schedule a pick up. Please call or email to schedule your pick up and be prepared to leave your items neatly folded in a bag outside your door. For more info check out our how-to.

We accept women’s clothing, purses, shoes, hats and jewelry. Items should be clean, unwrinkled and in excellent condition. We accept a wide variety of designer, vintage and mid-range items. We are particularly looking for name brands and true vintage.

• • Consignor receives 42% of the total selling price before eEbay and PayPal Fees.
  • Selling prices are set by Second Appearance. Final sale price may be different from the initial asking price.
  • Funds for sold items will be available after a 30 day delay to accommodate returns. (Yes we will be accepting returns since people can’t try things on online)
  • Payment for sold items will be deposited electronically or sent in the mail monthly by the 3rd Friday of each month.
  • Clothing must be clean, unwrinkled, and in good condition.
  • Unsold items will not be returned.
  • We donate to raise money for the Metro West Humane Society and can provide a donation receipt for your taxes.
